Clive Mann
Clive is a co-founder and Managing Director of
ridler & co.
An executive coach and group facilitator since 2003, he has
coached in a wide range of sectors, including financial
services, accountancy, telecommunications, food and
pharmaceuticals. In his coaching he combines hard-edged
commercial experience and strategic insight with a thorough
understanding of organisational dynamics, to enhance the
performance and organisational effectiveness of board
members, senior managers and high potentials.
Before becoming a coach Clive spent twenty years working in
senior finance and strategy roles in the financial services
industry, starting as a fixed income specialist in an
investment bank, then working in mergers and acquisitions
for a Big Four accountancy firm and finally as a strategic
planner for a FTSE 100 bank, where he worked closely with
the main board on projects of strategic importance to the
bank.
Clive has a degree in economics, qualified as a chartered
accountant and took an MBA from London Business School. He
is accredited as a coach with a degree-level coaching
diploma, and is in the final stages of an MA in integrative
psychotherapy at the Metanoia Institute. He is an associate
member of APECS (Association for Professional Executive
Coaching and Supervision) and a visiting tutor at London
Business School.
Nigel McEwen
Nigel is a co-founder and Director of
ridler
& co.
As an executive coach he works with clients in the
accountancy, legal, manufacturing and financial services
sectors. Nigel's expertise is working with individuals who,
having built their careers through excellent technical
skills, now wish to grow into leadership roles. He is also
well versed in coaching groups, particularly management
teams.
Before becoming a coach, Nigel was managing partner for
over ten years of a top 100 law firm, based in the City of
London. During this time he quadrupled fee income and
tripled profit through pursuing a strategic vision which
included developing a strong brand, specialising in
technology law and championing the implementation of a
coaching culture across the firm.
Nigel graduated in Law from the University of Kent and
subsequently qualified as a solicitor. He is accredited as
a coach with the Institute of Leadership and Management and
is currently completing his Masters degree in Change
Management and Strategies at Surrey University. He is
accredited in the use of various psychometric profiling
tools, including MBTI and Firo B.
